ART OF DYING PUTS THE FAN FIRST WITH NEW ALBUM ‘THE RULIAD’

Giving listeners the opportunity to own the music directly through Bandcamp.

Art of Dying

September 25, 2026 (Vancouver, BC) // After more than two decades spent navigating nearly every version of the modern music industry, Canadian hard rock veterans Art of Dying are approaching their next album differently. Titled The Ruliad, it is set to be released via Bandcamp in a direct-to-fan distribution model. Bundle sales begin September 25, giving fans an opportunity to own the music directly.

The idea is to put their music in the hands of the people who actually want it first.

For Art of Dying, that means releasing The Ruliad track-by-track, with one new song every five days, directly to fans so they can buy the music as it becomes available, rather than waiting for a traditional album release. CDs and records also play a part in the launch, meaning fans who believe music should exist in a physical format can do so. The first 50 fans to purchase a bundle will also have their names included in the album artwork, making the people who support The Ruliad from the beginning part of the record itself.
