ART OF DYING TURN “ALONE” INTO A DECLARATION OF TOGETHERNESS
The Hyphen Code join the Canadian hard rock veterans for a massive anthem about grief, connection, and finding your way forward.
September 11, 2026 (Vancouver, BC) // Vancouver-based hard rock band Art of Dying delivers “Alone,” the latest single from the band, this time featuring Vancouver Island-based band The Hyphen Code. Produced by Brian Howes (Skillet, Nickelback, Simple Plan), “Alone” blends Art of Dying’s heavy riffs and powerful vocals with The Hyphen Code’s emotional rawness and soaring guitar production.
“Alone” is less about loneliness than about the permanence of connections. The title refers to the emptiness left in the wake of absence. The chorus says it best: “I am not alone.” Grief, memory, and the mark left by the people who shaped us all become elements of presence.
