GARRETT BARBUTO GETS REAL ABOUT ROMANCE ON “GET WHAT WE DESERVE”

September 18, 2026 (Calgary, AB) // “Get What We Deserve” sees Garrett Barbuto back with his unique style of rock music. The laid-back single reflects the nature of the track with its focus on love in all its reality. With a cool vibe and great playfulness, it also features Barbuto’s unique falsetto in a summery atmosphere. Instead of searching for euphoria in love, Barbuto focuses on what can happen when two people start realizing what love is really about and how it is built.

“Get What We Deserve” musically captures the easygoing approachability that is becoming a hallmark of Barbuto’s music style. There is an easy, laid-back feel to the rhythm of the song, combining classic rock vibes with an element of the spontaneous. There is yet another dimension to the uniqueness of the song, provided by Barbuto’s characteristic vocals, which create an interesting interplay with the reflective themes in the song.
