LITTLE BIHLMAN CHECKS HIS FEELINGS AT THE DOOR ON NEW SINGLE “LEAVING MY HEART AT HOME”
A lively horn-forward anthem about recognizing when it’s time to go.
April 13, 2026 (Los Angeles, CA) // Scot “Little” Bihlman’s latest single, “Leaving My Heart at Home,” has been released through V13 Music as part of the ongoing rollout of his upcoming record Heavy Head. Inspired by the likes of The Police and the brass-edged urgency of alternative ska, the song combines a catchy, horn-driven sound with commentary on moving on from a bad relationship and finding power within oneself.
From the very beginning, the song has a lively and kinetic feel. The horns are very present in the rhythm section, giving the song a buoyant, lively feel. There’s a certain swing to the song, a certain celebration in the tone. It’s as if the song is encouraging the listener to move before it gets into the emotional content.
